An axe-wielding man is the subject of an RCMP investigation in Queen Charlotte. The incident happened last Thursday (Feb. 26) when the man confronted two teenage males with an ax.
The teenagers were standing on the edge of the man’s property when he sprang out of the bushes at them, wielding the axe. The two ran back to their own yard, but the man chased them, threatened them and then caused some property damage with the axe. The man suspected the teenagers of causing previous damage to his property.
Police are investigating whether to charge the man or resolve the issue through other means, according to Cst. Jenkins of the Queen Charlotte detachment.
