Cakes taken from Queen Charlotte cafe

Thieves took the cake and may have eaten it too after an unusal heist at Queen B's Café in Queen Charlotte.Proprietor Bonnie Olsen said that her restaurant and freezer were broken into late on the night of July 20 or in the early morning hours of July 21.The lock was broken on the freezer, which is outside the restaurant, and a tub of cookies was taken. Inside, the thief or thieves helped themselves to two kinds of cake, she said."They were not destructive," she said, suggesting that the perpetrators must have cared enough about the place that food was the only thing on their minds. She said nothing else - not art, jewelry or any other goods - was stolen or out of place.
