Change clocks Sunday

Daylight Savings Time starts Sunday at 2 am. Spring forward means we lose an hour this weekend. On the plus side, the sun will be coming up an hour earlier, meaning there will be light shortly after 6 am starting Monday.Daylight Savings Time is observed in most of Canada with the exception of Saskatchewan. It is also not observed in several BC communities, including Fort. St. John, Dawson Creek, and Creston. It used to start three weeks later in the spring, but that was changed in 2006 to be consistent with the US.Mark your calendar for Sunday November 2. That's the day we go back to standard time. But we'll have lots of sun to enjoy between now and then!
