Islanders can now get Twitter updates on the status of paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP) in razor clams.The Haida Fisheries Program tests for PSP levels in island waters weekly, and will post current level information for those following @HaidaGwaiiRazor.Its first post on Friday (Feb. 28) was, "Beaches are CLOSED due to high PSP readings. Not a great start to the new Haida Gwaii Razor Clam twitter - sorry!"For those who are not Twitter equipped, you can call Haida Fisheries for updates at 626-3302.
