Lauretta Littley of Tlell is continuing her appeal of the Port school janitorial contract. The school district awarded the contract to a Queen Charlotte man a couple of weeks ago, setting off an outpouring of public support for Ms Littley, who had done the work for many years.
"There is no change," school district maintenance supervisor Bill Wiggins told the Observer Monday morning, "there is an appeal process. (Ms Littley) is being offered the opportunity for an appeal."
Both were expected to have an initial meeting Tuesday, with possibly more to follow.
