Masset provincial court:
o Malvin E. Brown was fined $500 for possession of a banned substance.
o Robinson Russ received consecutive conditional sentences of 14 days for failing to appear in court, one day for trespassing at night, 60 days for possession of property obtained by crime, 30 days for failing to comply with an undertaking, seven days for another charge of failing to appear in court, and 30 days for another charge of failing to comply with an undertaking.
o Noel J. Williams was sentenced to 60 days in jail and prohibited from driving for one year for driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08 and taking a motor vehicle without consent. He was sentenced to a further 30 days in jail for failing to comply with an undertaking.
o Warren C. Smith received a conditional sentence of six weeks for trafficking in a banned substance.
o Edward G. Simeon was fined $880 and prohibited from driving for one year for driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08.
Queen Charlotte provincial court:
o April S. Chapman received a suspended sentence and one year's probation for possession of a banned substance.
