It’s April and time again for the Observer’s annual daffodil contest, our 24th since we started way back in 1986. The rules are simple: count the daffs in bloom on your residential property and call our daffodil hotline at 559-4680, fax 559-8433 or email us at observer@qcislands.net The contest closes at noon Monday April 20, and we’ll print the names of all entrants each Thursday and the final tally, with winners, on April 23. The person with the most daffs in bloom wins a two-year subscription to the Observer. We’ll also draw another winner at random. Get counting! You can’t win if you don’t enter!
