Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Nathan Cullen has been acclaimed as the NDP candidate, as ridings prepare for a possible federal election this spring. The NDP riding association ratified Mr. Cullen at a nomination meeting in Hazelton Jan. 27. Speakers from across the riding praised Mr. Cullen. "Our members are justifiably proud of the work their Member of Parliament has done, and we look forward to being ready to ensure Nathan Cullen continues to represent the riding whenever an election is called," said riding president Nancy Ross of Terrace. Mr. Cullen said the nomination was an incredible honour and said he would continue to fight for sustainable jobs, treaty settlements, affordable child care and education and a healthy environment.
