Submitted article--Ever wondered what to do with those forlorn dishes at the back of your cupboard that never see the light of day? Well, Dish Out with the Youth Green Team by donating them to a good cause. The Green Team is collecting donations of dishes, mugs and cutlery for use at a community dinner during the Sustainable Living Fair, where there will be no disposable dishes. They're hoping to build up a collection for other islands events in the future. Dishes can be dropped off in the blue Dish Out boxes at: the Co-ops, Bayview Market, Anne's Barn of Plenty, City Centre and SuperValu. Stay tuned for more on the Sustainable Living Fair at the Heritage Centre in Skidegate October 16-18. Speakers, workshops, performances and booths a plenty!
