The Queen Charlotte Volunteer Fire Department battle a blaze this morning aboard the Gwaii Haanas II, a Parks Canada work boat. As of 11:30 a.m. the fire appears contained. It's not believed any crew members were injured when the fire broke out, but we will continue to update this post with information as it becomes available.
