f you’ve always wanted a fire truck, you might be in luck.The Village of Masset is selling two elderly fire trucks, a 1980 GMC pumper and a 1972 Dodge tanker.The village purchased a newer truck in May and no longer needs the older vehicles. They will be sold by sealed tender, after being advertised locally for two weeks.”The longer they sit there, the less value they have to anybody,” said Mayor Andrew Merilees.The deadline for submitting bids is Sept. 21.
