HMCS Oriole to visit this month

This ship belongs to YOU!
That's right, Her Majesty's Canadian Ship Oriole belongs to the people of Canada and will be visiting the islands Tuesday July 27th.
The Oriole is 83 years old - the oldest commissioned vessel in the Canadian Navy, and this summer it is celebrating the 50th anniversary on the west coast.
Everyone's invited to come down and visit this beautiful specimen of living Canadiana, it will be open to visitors in Queen Charlotte at approximately 8:30am, a wind-dependent arrival time.
The Oriole will be here for only one day, as it is on a whirlwind tour this summer of BC's coastal communities, so don't miss it.
