Masset RCMP are investigating a break and enter at the construction site of the new hospital which occurred sometime between the evening of July 31 and the morning of Aug. 1.Sgt. Grant MacDonald said someone entered an unlocked door of the new building and stole a fax/phone machine.Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity at the site to contact the detachment at 626-3991 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.Police are also advising the public to take appropriate security measures to protect their property. This includes locking doors, keeping valuables out of sight and engraving and/or recording the serial numbers of electronic equipment, Sgt. MacDonald said.
