The group working on the islands land use plan will be meeting in Masset all day Friday and Saturday.
The sessions promise to be extremely interesting, says community planning forum co-chair Carol Kulesha. They will feature presentations and discussions about ecosystem-based management. Presenters include Herb Hammond, Bill Beese and Dan Cardinall.
The sessions run from 10 am until 4:30 pm on Friday, Jan. 16 and Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Howard Phillips community hall in Masset. They are open to the public.
