Heads up, Masset drivers!
Police will be enforcing traffic laws more strictly in Masset area school and playground zones, beginning immediately, says Cst. Brent Keibel. As well as speed, police will be checking seatbelts, child restraints and car safety. Police will review the law with first time offenders, but after that tickets will be handed out.
If you have a child restraint in your car and want to check if it is correctly installed, you can speak to ICBC or the police.
