The village of Masset will be building a memorial wall at the cemetery where residents can put plaques honouring loved ones who have passed away. The plaques will have room for a name, date of birth and date of death, said mayor Barry Pages, similar to a headstone. Masset councillor Janet Brown, who died in July, proposed the memorial wall idea a couple of years ago. The village received several donations in Ms Brown's memory to be put towards building the wall, administrator Trevor Jarvis said. The village will supply the rest of the money.
