There will be a public meeting Tuesday night in Masset to talk about the use of illegal drugs on the islands, says Council of the Haida Nation vice-president Arnie Bellis.Mr. Bellis said the issue is an extremely important one. The meeting is being supported by the Haida Nation, and the neighbouring communities of Old Massett and Masset, he said."We need to stand up, not just as Haida, but all members of the public need to stand up," he said.The meeting will be held at the Howard Phillips community hall starting at 7 pm Tuesday night (March 18).
