NDP MP Nathan Cullen likely re-elected

Nathan Cullen is likely to be the Member of Parliament for Skeena-Bulkley Valley, if the early voting tally is any indicator.Results just prior to 8:30 pm show the incumbent NDP MP with over 52 percent of the popular vote, with 6,885 votes.His closest rival, Sharon Smith for the Conservatives, had 33 percent of the vote, with 4,349. The Green Party's Hondo Arendt was third with 738 votes, followed by Corinna Morhart (Liberal) at 790.Rod Taylor (Canadian Heritage Party) was in fourth place with 286 votes, followed by Mary-Etta Goodacre (CAP) at 37 votes.Nationally, it looks like another Conservative government. with Mr. Harper's party leading or elected in 143 ridings, and the Liberals looking like they'll win in just 77.We'll have more details here by 11:00 pm.
