Masset is getting a new airline. Western Express Air Lines Inc. announced this week it will start scheduled passenger service between Masset and Vancouver on June 1.
Service will continue all summer on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The two-hour flight leaves VancouverÃs south terminal both days at 7:30 am, and takes off from Masset at 10:15 am.
The company will be using a 16-seat turbo-prop Metro III aircraft on the non-stop route. One-way price is $299, including all taxes and surcharges.
