About 10 cabins at Copper Bay were broken into between Dec. 27 and Dec. 29, Queen Charlotte RCMP say. It looks like nothing was stolen, but all exterior locks were damaged. Police have no suspects or witnesses at this time, and are asking anyone with information to please contact them.
A similar break and enter occurred on Second Avenue in Queen Charlotte between Dec. 31 and Jan. 3. A vacant rental trailer was broken into but nothing was stolen. Again, police have no suspects or witnesses.
RCMP also issued a 24-hour suspension to a 55-year-old female Queen Charlotte resident during a New Year’s Eve counterattack campaign.
