Oil and gas is such a hot topic that the Federal Moratorium Review Panel will add extra sessions and extend the deadline for written submissions to ensure everyone with an opinion can present it. The new deadline is May 25.
The panel has already received hundreds of written submissions, which are given equal weight with oral presentations.
The panel plans additional sessions in Alert Bay, Port Hardy, Victoria and Vancouver, and is encouraging people to keep their presentations within a 15-minute timeframe.
