Police arrested two young men in Skidegate after they barged uninvited into two houses early in the morning of Feb. 5.
The men are charged with unlawfully entering a dwelling place, theft, assault and a variety of breaches of court orders and probation. One is charged with 10 counts and the other with 8.
The houses were unlocked and the residents awake, when the two men entered and caused a disturbance, which resulted in assaults and damage to the houses. The subjects and victims were known to each other. The assaults were minor.
They were remanded into custody and will appear in court Feb. 13.
