Queen Charlotte police will be out watching the streets for impaired drivers all through the holiday season. They patrol carefully all years round, says Sgt. Eric Stubbs, and that vigilance will not let up as the year comes to a close. A full complement of police officers will patrol during the weekends to make sure people get home safely.
Last week, police mediated three domestic disputes. No charges were laid in any of the incidents.
