Grads hoping for bursaries from the Village of Port Clements should just write a letter of request, says Heather Nelson-Smith.She says the grads need proof of enrollment in a post-secondary institution to be eligible.The council hasn't decided on the amount available yet, and is waiting to see how many students apply.Usually the village gives $500 total, she says, and in 2006 councillors gave up part of their paycheques to help the students because so many applied. But last year Port received only one applicant.
