Queen Charlotte chooses logo from off island

Queen Charlotte Council chose a Prince George graphic design firm after receiving submissions from three logo designers.
The call for expressions of interest when out in May, seeking information about approaches to be employed and sample design work.
Councillors were told the applicants proposed costs in the range of $1,500 to $3,000 to prepare a logo for the municipality.
Councillor Gladys Noddin put forward a motion to go with Indigo Ink, a Prince George-based company.
The motion was passed unanimously. Councillor Kris Olsen said cost was a major deciding factor.
