Race for mayor in Port Clements only, lots of candidates elsewhere

There's just one contest for mayor shaping up on the islands, with Gerry Johnson running against Cory Delves in Port Clements. In Queen Charlotte and Masset, the incumbent mayors will serve three more years, as they are uncontested. But there are robust races for council in all three communities, as well as for Area D, the Moresby Island Management Committee and for school board.Nominations closed at 4 pm Friday.
