The landmark case is being heard in the Supreme Court of Canada Wednesday and Thursday and has attracted many islanders, including at least 15 representatives of the Haida Nation, as well as representatives of Port Clements, which has intervener status. The case, once decided, will set out the duties of the government and third parties such as Weyerhaeuser to consult with First Nations
