Warmer, drier summer predicted

It may be warmer and drier this summer than normal, if the forecasters at Accuweather are accurate."We see a high pressure anchored just off the (BC) coast," Brett Anderson of Accuweather told the Observer last week, "we expect warmer than normal temperatures over the course of the summer."Mr. Anderson also said that's especially true for June and July, while August temperatures may be more in line with normal. But, he added, water temperatures have been running above normal, and that indicates warmer weather as well.Mr. Anderson also said the summer is likely to be "slightly drier" than normal.Let's hope he's right!
