Skidegate trustee Wayne Wilson will serve another year as chair of the school board, after he was acclaimed to the position at the board's monthly meeting Dec. 19 in Queen Charlotte. He was first elected chair last year after serving as vice-chair for several years. The five trustees also acclaimed Port representative Lisa Gyorgy as vice-chair for the coming year. Trustees said they needed more time to decide who will serve on the board's committees, which are education, aboriginal education, finance and personnel, and community relations. Committee representatives will be announced at the January meeting.
