Local author Cliff Bell-Brown has received his fourth book from the printers and is happy to present it as his first work of fiction.

Titled Heaven on Earth, the book follows a trilogy of non-fiction books — a series Bell-Brown called Adventures in the Dream State that are based on his life experiences.

The first of those books, A Seed Sprouts, is ultimately a search for stability and peace, he said. Next came, A Message from the Dawn, which covers a time Bell-Brown spent practicing transcendental meditation — a “what’s it all about” period.

His most recent memoir, Wake Up and Smell the Roses, tells of the frustrations, anger, and denial he overcomes while building a floating retirement home to gives him the freedom he craves, the stability he needs, and the quiet life to write that gives him peace.

Bell-Brown’s website, www.adventuresinthedreamstate.com, gives information about each book and his life’s journey.

All four books are now available at the seasonal St. Mark’s gift shop here in Port, at the local Port Clements Museum, Green Gaia restaurant in Masset, or at the Isabel Creek store in Queen Charlotte. Of course, Bell-Brown also has copies on his houseboat.

There is talk of a fifth book…
