School district superintendent Mike Woods says that he's expecting around 720 students will be enrolled in islands schools this year, about what the district was predicting.
The number of students stood at 700 on Monday (Sept. 25), down about 50 from last year's enrollment.
"We are just collecting the e-school numbers and I suspect we will be close to the 720 we projected," Mr. Woods said.
Once the district completes its enrollment reports for the Ministry of Education, sometime after Sept. 29, it will be able to release information about how many students are attending each of the islands schools, he added.
