Alcohol, speed factors in early-morning accident

A woman, with no driver's licence, was charged with dangerous driving after wrapping the back-end of a newer model black Mustang into a tree.
The accident happened Wednesday (September 21) at 6 am near Jungle Beach. The driver was heading south with two passengers when she lost control and skidded across the road and collided with a large tree.
Sergeant Neil Hogg of the Queen Charlotte RCMP attended the accident and determined alcohol and speed were factors.
The woman was not the owner of the vehicle and the vehicle was totalled.
There were no injuries.
