Submitted article--Put the 2013 All Islands Art Show on your calendar. It's sponsored by the Haida Gwaii Arts Council and will run from March 8 to April 13 at the Haida Gwaii Museum in Skidegate.All islands artists are encouraged to enter. The artwork can be in any medium, but must have been made in the last year. It must be original (not made from a kit), not previously been exhibited, and be ready to hang. Artwork must be received at the Haida Gwaii Museum by Saturday March 2.Former Haida Gwaii resident Judy Hilgemann has been chosen as this year's adjudicator. She is a watercolour painter and graphic designer whose illustrations have been published in children's books.While on the islands, Judy will be available to meet with each artist in the show, give a slide show about her work and present a workshop.Art show coordinator Nancy Hett is working with a team of enthusiastic volunteers to prepare for the show.
