BC premier Gordon Campbell and Alberta premier Ralph Klein, along with their cabinets, will be gathering in Prince Rupert in April for a joint meeting.
North Coast MLA Bill Belsey said it’s the first such meeting ever held in BC, and Prince Rupert is the ideal location.
“We are an important transportation corridor that joints a lot of industry in both provinces,” he said. “And we have a premier who supports the Pacific northwest.”
Mr. Klein is also a well-known fishing fanatic, he said, and is familiar with the north coast’s lures.
Mr. Belsey said the meeting organizers will be planning side trips for the cabinet members and premiers which could very well include the Charlottes.
