After a short foot chase, police nabbed a youth trying to steal a case of beer from a parked car across the street from the Masset Legion on Collison Avenue, around 11 pm, on Friday April 22.
Someone noticed the youth throw a rock through the car window and called RCMP. They arrived quickly, arrested him and charged him with mischief.
Charges will be laid against two men for impaired driving. One 25-year old man was pulled over April 20 around 10 pm on Harrison Avenue in Masset. And a 41-year old man was pulled over on April 24 around 3 am on Raven Avenue in Old Massett.
