Best Summer Job winner coming here

Submitted by Gwaii Haanas--The Gwaii Haanas Field Unit welcomes Joseph Crawford to our office on May 11.Joseph was born in Olds, Alberta and now lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He's pursuing a Bachelor degree in Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership from the University of New Brunswick. Joseph says he is a positive, energetic, outgoing, compassionate individual with a passion and appreciation for the outdoors. This summer, he hopes to immerse himself with the diverse local populations and the natural environments on Haida Gwaii. They will produce video reports on their experiences in our national parks. Each student will produce three five to eight minute videos that take into account such themes as: Tribute to the Parks Canada Team, In Praise of Parks Canada Sites, Visitor Love Stories, and Free Rein to Creation. They must also film additional video to be archived and used in future Parks Canada productions.At the end of the summer, the final 32 videos will be presented at the Parks Canada website.
