The Vancouver Island Regional Library is holding a huge book sale this Saturday at the old Port Clements branch. The sale starts at 10 am on July 11 and runs until 4 pm. Hundreds of fiction, non-fiction, young adult and children's books will be available, as will magazines, books on tape and videotapes. Paperbacks are just 25 cents, hardcovers $1. The old branch is located in the Port fire hall at 35 Cedar Avenue West, across the street from the new multipurpose building.
