The boil water advisory in Port Clements was lifted on Thursday afternoon (March 2), says village administrator Dana Schmidt.
The water is now fine to drink, but the village will be chlorinating it until at least Monday, she said, while it awaits the results of another test.
The village issued the advisory on Feb. 20 after tests showed high levels of non-fecal coliforms.
