Queen Charlotte’s building bylaw, introduced in March, was passed as council met Apr. 15. The bylaw now requires a building permit for any construction costing $50,000 or more, and also imposes time limits on that construction. It covers exterior work but not interior renovations. Full details are available from the village office.
