Byelection Saturday

  • Jul. 30, 2004 8:00 p.m.

If you live in Skidegate, Miller Creek, Lawn Hill, Tlell, Old Massett, Tow Hill Road or anywhere else on rural Graham Island, Saturday is your chance to vote for a new Area D regional district director.
Four people are running for the seat, which became empty when Gilbert Parnell resigned last month. All four candidates have submitted statements, which you can read on page X.
Polling stations will be open Saturday (July 31) from 8 am to 8 pm in four locations: the Qay’llnagaay Heritage Centre at 100 Front Street in Skidegate, the Tlell fire hall, the village of Masset office and the Old Massett fire hall.
