The CBC's flagship Fifth Estate public affairs program investigating Old Massett's ocean fertilization project is airing earlier than expected.Previous reports indicated the program would be airing next week, but the CBC show's website is advertising the episode, called "Ironman", this Friday at 9 pm. The title refers to Russ George, a main proponent of ocean fertilization, "Thumbing his nose at UN conventions and possibly Canadian law, Russ George has teamed up with an impoverished Haida village to carry out his grand experiment off BC's coast."The program filmed on the islands in mid-February.
