Charlotte head count complete

The Queen Charlotte head count is complete and enumerators found 1042 people living in the community.
This is good news, says interim-administrator Dave Wilson, as the budgets and funding requests were based on the last federal census. In 2001, Statistics Canada found there were 1044 people living in Area F, the new boundaries of the new municipality.
Grants are given on a per capita basis, he says, so the budgets already drawn up for 2006 are right on track.
The next federal census will be completed in 2006.
