Charlotte police impound two vehicles

Shortly before lunch on April 20 police checked a driver and found his ability to drive was impaired by drugs, says Sgt Neil Hogg of the Queen Charlotte RCMP detachment. A small quantity of marijuana was seized and his vehicle was impounded and driver's licence was suspended for 24 hours.
Early Friday evening (April 20) a youth was assaulted in Skidegate by a youth her same age and was treated at hospital for her injuries, Sgt. Hogg said. Police arrested the offender and her mother for the assault. The matter is still under investigation.
Shortly after midnight police stopped a driver who attempted to evade police in Skidegate. Police seized the drinking driver's licence and impounded his vehicle for 24 hours.
