By Alex Rinfret--NDP candidate Gary Coons is the unofficial winner of the North Coast seat in today'sprovincial election.Campaign manager Don Fordyce said Mr. Coons is now (at 10:00 pm) at Fisherman's Hall in Prince Rupert celebrating with his volunteers and supporters."Not officially but... it's pretty much in the bag," Mr. Fordyce said. "We should pull it off...Everybody's pretty happy over here."Mr. Fordyce said he had been concerned at times about the strong Liberal campaign, but that Mr. Coons was an excellent candidate, well-known for doing an excellent job over the past four years as the North Coast MLA.
