Masset RCMP seized a considerable quantity of drugs while searching for a suspect in late October, says Cpl. Andrew Baylis. The drugs were found in a black duffel bag outside, and included one pound of marijuana, 100 ecstasy pills and drug paraphernalia, he said. The bag also contained packaging material for the sale and distribution of the drugs. The RCMP members who found the bag were looking for a suspect involved in a business break, enter and theft, Cpl. Baylis said. The incident occurred on Oct. 23, in the early morning hours. Police are continuing to investigate and ask that anyone with information contact the Masset detachment at 626-3991, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or online at www.bccrimestoppers.com
