Four candidates are running for chief councillor in the Old Massett Village Council election to be held this coming Monday, Dec. 2.The incumbent, Ken Rea, is running again, as are Ronald M. Brown, Roger Smith and Greg White.There are eight candidates for the four councillor positions that will also be elected Monday. They are: Lisa Bell, Shane Bell, Vince Collison, John T. Jones, Brandon Kallio, Alfred Setso Sr., Robert Williams and Harold Yeltatzie.An advance poll was held Nov. 25. The polling station at the Old Massett Community Hall will be open from 10 am until 8 pm for voting. Anyone who is registered with the Old Massett Village Council and is at least 18 years old as of Nov. 25 is eligible to vote.
