Submitted by Linda Louis-Already plans are well underway for the annual fall fair which will be held on Sunday Aug. 2 in the Tlell Fair Grounds. Here is a wonderful opportunity for you to show your handiwork, gardening, canning or baking skills. There are categories for the little ones right up to those young at heart.This year's theme is Agriculture-Eat it up! Now is the time to get thinking on how we can use that theme in the quilts, photographs and other art projects. Kids start thinking about the theme for the catalogue cover contest which will be taking place at the end of March.Speaking of contests, our craft challenge will be announced within the next few weeks so keep your eyes open. We would also like to apologize for not announcing the winner of the flower arrangement challenge after the fair last year. The winner was Karen Ronnenkamp by only one vote.
