An industrial accident Monday on Louise Island took the life of a Sandspit resident.Queen Charlotte RCMP received a call at 10 am on May 4 notifying them of the accident.The worker was unloading a log loader from a barge when the machine overturned and landed in the water. The operator was trapped inside and unable to get out, according to police.The RCMP, the BC Coroner's office, Worksafe BC and the Transportation Safety Board are all conducting investigations.The name of the deceased has not been released.
