Fatality was Campbell River diver

A 40-year old commercial fisherman, Sean Dorset of Campbell River, died while diving in Naden Harbour Sept. 8, according to Masset RCMP.
Mr. Dorset and another diver were working around some anchor lines. Mr. Dorset didn't resurface when he was supposed to, the other diver went for help.
A certified diver happened to be nearby, said Sgt. Isles of the Masset RCMP, and helped to bring him to the surface. Some trained medical people who were at West Coast Fishing Lodge tried to help, and a helicopter from Langara Lodge flew the man to Masset hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of death remains unclear, and the coroner will investigate, said Sgt. Isles.
