If you're heading to Prince Rupert for the All Native, the ferry is making it easier. It's changing its schedule to accommodate the tournament, and leaves Skidegate at 2:00 am on Monday (Feb. 10), arriving at 8:30 am Monday, in lots of time for some solid basketball action.
The tournament-holy week, as some say, gets underway Sunday Feb. 9 and wraps up the following Saturday. The first seniors team from the islands to get any court time is the Skidegate Mens at 8 pm on Monday, followed by the Massett Mens at 1 pm on Tuesday. Intermediate teams play their first games on Tuesday, while the women's division gets started ahead of everybody, on Sunday at 6:30 pm.
All games are at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre in Rupert. Finals will be on Saturday Feb 15, starting at 1:00 pm.
